The minister concerned of the office chairs the committee, The number of non-official members is limited to 15 in newsy committees. It includes two members from Lok Sabha and two from Rajya Sabha. Two members are nominated by the Committee of Parliament on Official Language, three members are nominated by Department of official language, and Kendriya Sachivalaya Hindi Parishad and Akhil Bhartiya Hindi Sanstha Sangha nominates one member each in this committee. Hon’ble minister of the ministry nominates four members. The Secretary of the Ministry and heads of its subordinate offices are its members. Moreover, senior officers of the ministry are moreover its members and the Incharge Joint Secretary of the Official Language semester of the Ministry is it’s Member-Secretary. The committee is constituted for three years. The committee advices the Ministry and it’s subordinate offices regarding implementation of the directions issued by Department of Official Language regarding provisions made under the Constitution and Official Language Act and Rules. The HindiNewsyCommittee of Ministry ofMinutiaeof North Eastern Region has been reconstituted under Resolution No. 1/09/2014-Hindi Dated 05-08-2015. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry ofMinutiaeof North Eastern Region is the Chairman of the committee. Member-Secretary The fourth meeting of the HindiNewsyCommittee of Ministry ofMinutiaeof North Eastern Region was organized on 24-01-2017 in the committee room of the ministry at Vigyan Bhawan Annexe, New Delhi in the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry ofMinutiaeof North Eastern Region. Activities MDoNER is responsible for the matters relating to the planning, execution and monitoring of minutiae schemes and projects in the NE region. About North East Northeast India is the eastern-most region of India. It comprises eight states "€" the first-hand Seven Sister States, and the Himalayan state of Sikkim. Track 10 Track 10 is earmarking 10% of the Annual Budget by Central Ministries for the North Eastern Region, 53 non-exempted Ministries / Departments which earmark funds for the NER at present.
